We are SLLLOOOOOWWWLLLY opening back up from Covid-19 here and I have begun shooting a few backyard Zoom weddings with just a handful of guests. A few weeks back it was Andrew + Rachel’s celebration and even though it’s not the giant party, I find there’s so much more intimacy and connection at these tiny weddings that you rarely find in the more elaborate wedding days.
It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with these two and I wish you years of joy together!

Megan + Julia were supposed to have thier full blown wedding this summer; unfortunately that was before this pandemic craziness hit and they had to bump the big day until next year. Not ones to let a little thing like rescheduling get them down, they gathered their parents and siblings, tied the knot in their backyard and broadcast it out on Zoom to all the rest of their friends.
It was a super intimate afternoon that I felt incredibly lucky to have been a part of, plus, now I get to keep looking forward to celebrating with these awesome women again next summer! Congrats to you both!

Now John and Sarah charmed me a long time ago at their engagement session, but I have to say, any couple who opens up the dance floor with he Pokemon theme song AND ALL THEIR FRIENDS KNOW THE WORDS, has pretty much won my heart forever!
Thank you both for being such awesome human being, for generally kicking ass, and for letting me celebrate with you at Padua Hills!

Monazzah + Azim’s two day celebration took us from the Fairmont Olympic in downtown Seattle all the way to Bellevue at the Newcastle Golf Club for their second day with their family and friends!

A couple weeks ago I headed out to the little German inspired village of Leavenworth, Washington to photograph Scott + Liesbet’s wedding at the Tierra Retreat Center. It was an absolutely gorgeous May day for these two to tie the knot under the trees and I could have asked for a more happy crowd of people.
Congrats again Liesbet + Scott and thanks for having me celebrate with you!

I’m a huge fan of intimate weddings. The idea of having just the absolute most important people gather around you while you move forward as a couple seems so perfect to me (and not to look like I’m just saying it, we only had 42 people at our celebration when Felicia and I were married).
So when Monal gave me a call and told me their idea for the day, I was 100% on board. We started off with a first look at their favorite hangout and the site of their engagement, Cloudburst Brewing in downtown Seattle, before heading down to Georgetown for a ceremony and dinner at the Frans Chocolate factory.
The day flew by, but I was thrilled to spend it with these two, congrats again and I’ll see you soon for your post wedding session!
