June 9th, 2011:

In about 4 hours our summer season will begin.  In the next 10 days we have 3 weddings and 4 shoots scheduled across the two American coasts.  We will be in Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and New York – flying red eye and capturing the memories for our clients.  When we get back to California, it will be weddings almost every weekend until October.

We are looking forward to all the photographs we will have a chance to create this summer, but have taken the chance to relax a little during the past week and prepare for the summer – picnicking, hanging out with the family and letting Felicia rummage through the vintage book sale at the library to find awesome 100+ year old books to decorate our little house (she insists that she intends to read them all, but I’m not sure when she will get to Songs of the Psi Epsilon Fraternity…)

Also I have taken the bike out and begun training and raising funds for the Climate Ride which I will take part in during early October – I will be riding 320 miles of the Northern California coast  and need your help.  If you are interested in raising awareness for climate change, supporting me, or just interested in a tax deduction while enjoying my pictures – click here and donate now! I am still $2700 away from my fundraising goal.

Thanks for your support!
