December 31st, 2010:
Another amazing year is about to end and I figured a little wedding recap was in order. Felicia and I have had the opportunity to work with some spectacular couples and we are thankful to each and every one for trusting us to capture and record one of the most monumental days in their lives.
The year flew by in a frenzy, but here (in chronological order) are some of the fleeting moments that these couples can cherish forever.
In other news, I want to thank my wife for all her love, support and effort throughout the year. It was our first full year together, without the entanglements of a long distance relationship, and life only gets better each and every day. She is an wonderful photographer in her own right, and has taken many of the images on this blog over the past year. It may be my name on the .com, but after the last 12 months shooting, editing, thinking, brainstorming and working side by side, we have become a team that seamlessly takes care of all aspects of running a photography studio.
Thank you Felicia. I love you now and always.
Katie and Brett at Tivoli Too in Laguna Beach
Ben and Sanja at The Mountain Mermaid in Topanga Canyon
In May I had the opportunity to fly to Wisla, Poland to capture Lena and Tomek’s wedding day. I love travel and can never complain when I have such great chances to enjoy photojournalism and travel together. Remember – if you are getting married anywhere in the world, I can be there!
Alysse and Arthur by the sea in Oxnard, CA
Amber and Chirag at one of my favorite venues, Rancho del Cielo in Malibu (the owner, Jill, has to be one of the sweetest people alive). They had a vibrant day with both Indian and Western ceremonies and attire.
Brianna and Mike at the Lindley Scott house in Azusa, CA
Mina and Alex in Orange County, CA
Nathasha and John at The Sportsmans Lodge in Studio City
Misha and Ivory at the Korean Friendship Bell in San Pedro
Cassandra and Javier at the L.A. River and Gardens in Los Angeles
Yenny and Anthony in Arcadia and Pasadena, CA
And finally, Tracey and Chris, who I just shot in San Francisco 3 days ago and am still in the process of editing, these are a couple “Sneak Peek” images. Again, thanks for the wonderful opportunity to travel and photograph!
All in all, we had a wonderful year and are looking forward to an even more outstanding 2011!
