Sept 29th, 2010:
Early this year I had the chance to shoot an engagement session for Ivory and Misha at the Korean Friendship Bell, a stunning location over looking a great expanse of blue that is the Pacific Ocean, while also being flanked by brilliant blue skies. I was absolutely enamored with the location, the high contrast colors and awesome vistas made for completely “Wow!” photos.
Fast forward eight months, and Felicia and I found ourselves back at this spectacular location, where Ivory & Misha had their ceremony.
While the couple was beautiful and the location stunning, it was their daughter, Jordyn, who constantly won my camera’s affection for her impossible cuteness. Seriously, I felt like I had as many pictures of that little girl as the bride and it is with great restraint that this blog post isn’t full of her pictures!
All of Ivory’s groomsmen are friends from his UC Berkeley days and flew in from all points of California to be with him and Misha on this day.
Most brides here in America keep their wedding dress a surprise from the grooms. Well, Misha sprang a BIG surprise, as she tapped into her Indian heritage and wore an Indian-inspired outfit, complete with tiny mirrors hand-sewn into the multi-tiered dress.
Ivory and Misha had this sweet vintage Rolls Royce to get them around throughout the day. Here it waits for them to finish their solitary last dance before taking them away for the night.
I love this last image, for me it totally captures everything between Ivory and Misha. Congrats again on your big day!
