July 28th, 2011:
Christine and Scott tied the knot last month with an intimate ceremony of 23 guests in Beverly Hills, at Franklin Canyon Park. Everything about the day went perfect due to Christine’s exacting plans, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a Saturday than wandering the park with this wonderful couple and creating memories that they can cherish the rest of their lives.
Christine and Scott opted for a first look in order to have more time to capture their wedding day portraits and enabling them to spend the rest of their day with their nearest & dearest wedding guests.
Felicia and I find that a first look creates a perfect environment for the bride and groom to see each other for the first time – they are able to spend as long as they need just reveling in each other’s company, with us off to the sidelines and no distractions while they enjoy the moment, the culmination in this day after months and months of meticulous planning.
Scott and Christine spent 10 minutes completely enamored by each other, savoring their time while overlooking the lake (completely oblivious to me) before finally deciding they were ready and turning to me to say “Where do you want us for pictures?”
Scott has a twin brother (his best man), who wore a matching suit and a few times throughout the afternoon I got a little confused.
Christine created almost all the details by hand and planned the entire event to run without a hitch.
Congratulations again to you both! As I publish this, you may or may not still be in Europe, if you are, I hope you don’t see this until you get home: keep enjoying the honeymoon moments you have with each other!
