September 21st, 2015:
After the seemingly rushed 4 days in Munich shooting a wedding and taking a few travel pictures, I jumped on the train to head over to Vienna (the capital of Austria) to see what there is to see and catch up with a few friends. The last time I was here was on my first solo trip around Europe in 2001, and I honestly don’t remember that much of the city, so my days were filled with photographing this stunning city during the grip of a record setting heatwave (and for added awesomeness to your Monday, click that link to see a picture of people watering a rhinoceros. Seriously).
As an added bonus to being a travel photographer in Vienna I was able to catch up with Tomek and Lena, who Felicia and I first met in Mongolia in 2007, then they attended our wedding in Singapore in 2009 and whose wedding I photographed in Poland in 2010. Now they have two little ones of their own, Roman and Daria, and I was able to spend a couple afternoons drinking beer and catching up with these two amazing people and getting to know their small people.
