Earlier this month we photographed Cindy & Greg’s wedding, where we started off at the historic Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, before their ceremony and reception at the Wilson & Harding golf course in Griffith Park.
I love the art deco-inspired elements of their day, from the engagement ring, to the invites, and Cindy’s incredible shoes.
We traded lots of laughs over ‘sparrow face’ – because duck face is so last season – and even an extensive discussion over this severe condition that plagues many women.
My favorite part of their reception has to be the ‘poem lady’, Jacqueline Suskin, who would type you a poem on her vintage typewriter based on any word you mentioned. I said ‘Adventure’, and this was what I got:
Our call to continue
and create the connection
to all possibility
in such a wide spread
world. How we aim
to wander over all
landscape and figure
the fantasy of difference
that spreads over our
earth with infinite ease.
