Kate & David are two of the sweetest people we’ve ever worked with. Befittingly, they had an intimate ceremony at Monrovia Canyon Park which certainly exemplified a wedding that was simple, down-to-earth, full of heart, yet visually amazing.
A lot of times, weddings are the bride’s domain, but this lovely event was certainly a labor of love for both Kate & David. Kate’s attention to detail was impeccable, and everything was so cohesive and perfectly complemented the rustic beauty of their wedding location. But as you scroll down this page and admire that amazing wooden arbor, let it be known that David built it himself. Rob assumed he used a CNC router. Nope: those letters with their last name were cut BY HAND! Amazing!
Congratulations Kate & David. Thanks for having us share your special day. Have a beautiful life together!
Peonies are my favorite flower, but until now, it had never occurred to me how well they go with hydrangeas for a full, fluffy bouquet! The burlap on the bouquet was a nice touch that tied in beautifully with the burlap table runners (also DIY!).
