Each week, couples send us their wedding day timelines for review, and when Rob and I received Derrick & Angela’s, we were quite literally jumping for joy. They loved the night-time shots from their engagement session so much that they scheduled 20 minutes, in the middle of their reception while guests ate dinner, for pictures at twilight.
Add that to an already well-organized day, a “First Look” with ample time for photos, plus two people who were excited about photos and willing to make time for it = a dream come true for Rob & I. From a wedding photography standpoint, Derrick & Angela have certainly been exemplary in their planning. Even with all my OCD and “Tiger Mom” tendencies, I would gladly give them a hearty A+ for their efforts. Well done, Angela & Derrick, and THANK YOU for truly making photography a priority!
Their wedding at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda was gorgeous, everything ran without a hitch, and most importantly, Angela & Derrick were happy, and enjoyed their special day, surrounded by their friends & family.
Congratulations, Derrick & Angela. We are so happy to have been part of your special day. Here’s to a wonderful rest-of-your-lives together!
I guess that counts as 2.5 outfit changes? Wedding dress, a traditional red Chinese cheongsam (Cantonese for qipao) and then a Lakers jersey.
