When Eileen & Trinidad’s wedding day came around a few weeks ago, it felt like it had been a very long time in the works: turns out, we did first meet them 17 months ago, and shot their Highland Springs engagement session last year in October. Still, despite the passage of time, Eileen & Trinidad remained no less charming and easy-going than we first remembered them to be. Not only was their wedding at Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistraño very elegant with lots of lovely details in soft hues, it was also a LOT of fun, shared with their family & friends who certainly knew how to party.
I really liked how Eileen’s choice of colors, from the florals to the cake, to her shoes and accessories, truly complemented the Mission-style venue. Everything was aesthetically-cohesive without being matchy-matchy, and certainly conveyed an air of understated glamor and refined elegance. Of course, Eileen herself was also resplendent in her Priscilla of Boston’s dress (in a mermaid silhouette reminiscent of my own wedding dress!), and the bird cage veil was the perfect touch to complete her bridal ensemble. Gorgeous!
But beyond the material things, Eileen & Trinidad are just wonderful, down-to-earth people who valued love, friendship and family. It was beautiful day, in every sense of the word. Congrats, Eileen & Trinidad. Thanks for having us be part of your special day. Have a wonderful life together!
Cassandra & Javier, who referred us to Eileen & Trinidad, were also at the wedding. Here I am, partying it up with my buddy Cass.
