January 20th, 2011:
January’s supposed to be winter in California, but last Saturday, on Jenn & Dave‘s big day, the sun was blazing, and the sky was clear blue: a perfect, beautiful day, for two beautiful people.
From the balcony of the apartment where Jenn was getting ready, we watched as throngs of paddle-boarders, kayakers and surfers joined the pods of dolphins and sea lions frolicking in the glistening sea. Perhaps it was a sign that the Heavens were smiling upon our lovely couple, who, after 10 years of dating, were entering a new phase of life together on this warm & wonderful SoCal day.
Good things come to those who wait, Dave!
Dave’s nephew & niece flew in from Arizona to do the honors as ring-bearer and flower girl. These kids are so self-assured and made their way down the aisle with poise, confidence, and style. Nice.
The sunlight was fading, but we managed to pull off a purple skyed session.
What an awesome wedding day! Felicia and I had a great time and are definitely thrilled for Dave & Jenn. Congrats again!

This is the best blog I’ve ever seen in my life! I really appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day to share your this with everyone.
Dave and I are so grateful to have you and Felicia there on our big day! It’s funny how in all the hub-bub all the little things you miss as a bride and groom, so I was delighted to see all the wonderful details in your photos! Btw on a funny side note our friend Alee was looking at the photos of the rings in the grass planter kept saying “OMG is that our grass?! It looks amazing!! That can’t be our grass!” Then his girlfriend Iris was like “OMG Babe, those are our corks! They look so fancy! Wow!” It was really quiet comical for them to oh and ah over what they had thought were everyday objects.
Truly, it takes a keen eye to see the extraordinary in the most simple. You guys never cease to amaze me with your talent! Amazing work your two!
