Erieene from Ohio, Jeremy is from Los Angeles, and they met in New Orleans.  Odd?  Not really. Felicia and I are always thrilled to hear more stories of people who met on vacation and decide this is the one, then transplant their entire life to a new place just to be with that person.  In many ways it mirrors the trans-pacific relationship Felicia and I carried on for more then two years before she left Singapore and came to live with me in Los Angeles.

We met up with Erienne and Jeremy at Paramont Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains. Paramont is an old film ranch which you have most likely seen in some movie, but is now part of the National Park system.  It was definitely an awesome place to shoot and I was thrilled that I was able to finish our shoot before the ranger came around closing up for the night and informed me it was $175 for a permit to shoot here, and I would be allowed this one warning and be given a fine next time.  He asked for a business card and took down my address and DOB, all to be added to what I imagine one of the most comprehensive files of Southern California photographers asking “forgiveness instead of permission”.
