A couple days before Felicia and I set off into the wilderness for our vacation, we shot a late evening Bridal shoot for Yenny and Anthony, an extremely friendly Indonesian couple whose wedding we will be photographing next month. Unfortunately the Wrathful Gods of Los Angeles Traffic decided not to agree with our plans to shoot with the setting sun, and left our couple stranded on the freeways until the sun was past the horizon.
Fortunately, though, I didn’t let this bother me, and I still had a great session with this couple working with the light we had (which is still quite a bit outside the John Ferraro Building and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion).
After our session, the four of us headed into Hollywood for some authentic Thai food, where Yenny & Anthony quizzed us about the traditional cultural elements of our wedding. Great food, lots of laughs. Good times!

Dude these are some of your best shots i have seen yet and cool you were able to make a quick decision last minute and save the day with some unique shots. The first photo reminded me of the shots i got in Singapore at the magic blue hour right after sunset near the Marlion Park & Water Front. http://www.foggodyssey.com/2009/06/11/merlion-park-and-water-front/ I esp liked the last photo at the water fountain… NICE! Hand-held or tripod?
Even without the setting sun, those are pretty amazing. Especially the first and the last one. 🙂
