Trisha and Phil:
Trisha and Phil are getting married in August and I will have the privilege to shoot their wedding, but as for now we spent a beautiful Southern California Saturday wandering the streets of old town Fullerton and garnered some great engagement shots! Pretty awesome stuff and I had a fun morning (complete with a this layer of sunblock which left me with that familiar scent of Coppertone).

Rob,
I have to tell you this story, because you have changed my life. A couple of months ago, a friend of mine sent me a link to his art website and he had posted a link to his blog (which was pretty boring), and on his blog links to other websites he liked. Somewhere in that mix I was led to “Mom Says I’m Running Away.” I started reading the archives from 2006 and today I just finished reading your most recent post. It must be strange to hear this from someone you don’t know, but I feel like I know you, your family and your soon to be beautiful wife. Following your dream and setting out to travel the world is amazing. To be perfectly honest with you, I had no idea that people actually did that. I’ve traveled a little outside of the U.S for a couple of weeks at a time, but nothing like what you did. I’ve been completely inspired by your story and your tales of adventure. My whole life, I’ve wanted to do what you did and see the world that surrounds us, but it wasn’t until I read through your blog, that I finally felt like it was a possiblity. I just turned 30 this month and I’ve decided that for my 31st birthday, I’m going to take myself on all the adventures I’ve always longed for. My plan begins today and my journey awaits me. Thank you for your beautiful photographs. You truly have a gift. I wish you the best of luck in your life and in your marriage with Felicia. All the best to you. Christina.
