Day: 202
Uhh… Yeah…
For those of you don’t know; I got this job for three weeks down in Cancun, Mexico blogging Spring Break next month. Everything was confirmed today and I just received an email with my flight information. I leave on March 3rd, who knows the kind of trouble I’ll find in a place like this, with scantily clad college girls running around everywhere but I am sure to be drunk and up to my old tricks.
I really don’t know how my life has gotten so good.
Oh, by the way, did I mention I am excited. Who else gets an all expense paid, three week trip to Mexico to hang out with drunken college students and document the goings on. I call this my job, and I am a professional.

“Going going, back back, to Cali Cali”….
Welcome back.
Rob,nrCongrats on the Spring Break job! I saw the post on Bootsnall and wondered how many people would vie for the position. I’ll bet there were tons of applications, so again, congratulations. They couldn’t have selected a better applicant! After reading your blogs, the job was probably hands down, yours for the taking. I continue to read of your escapades and thoroughly enjoy your photography. You definitely should send your work off to National Geographic. I’m sure you would be the perfect fit for their team of explorers/photographers. Well, whatever you decide to do, the world seems to be your oyster! Take care Rob and enjoy the dream!nrMrs G.
See you Saturday!
Congratulations Rob!!!
You lucky bastard! I can’t wait to see what happens next. Have the time of your life.
You are the professional, Rob.
See you Sunday!
I guess it’s true: Do what you love and the rest will just fall into line!
Just linked to your your site after checking out Rolf Potts’. I looked back at your early entries, and had to say “Well Done!”
You got the same flak and BS from friends that I did planning a trip last year. There is no time when you can’t do it. I took a leave from my job and traveled with my two kids (12 and 14). We only did 6 months to start with, since my ex wasn’t too happy about them being gone longer. But we’ll be out again soon. I don’t understand people who let their lives get in the way of living.
Maybe I’ll see you out there. Congrats on living deliberately!
