August 20th, 2018:
Out in the woods and out on an island, is there anything more amazing in the Pacific Northwest? Ashley and Shawn were married a few weeks back at the Four Springs House on Camano island and the day was absolutely flawless. Beautiful sun, huge trees, bald eagle sightings and these two being enamored with each other. Thanks so much for letting me join you on the big day!
November 16th, 2016:
C + D were married a few weeks back at the Sand Acre Estate in Palm Springs and after the insane winds from their engagement session, the wedding day was a pleasantly still and clear reprieve. These two brought a look of classic elegance to the celebration and it was heartwarming to see all the family and friends spread out at one long table. Thanks again to Brett for shooting with me and Congrats to the bride and groom!
May 20th, 2016:
You want the windiest shoot ever? How about you go and stand next to a ton of windmills like I did with C+D a couple of weeks back in Palm Springs. It was wonderful to know the area lived up to it’s windy reputation, but C+D we total troopers, braving the buffeting gusts and pretending like getting pelted with random flying grit is par for the course. After the sun went down, it was even dark enough for us to capture a few astro photos with the mountains silhouetted in the background!

Last weekend I headed out to the desert to spend a couple evenings with Nancy and Chris, photographing their intimate wedding ceremony at the Moorten Botanical Gardens and shooting an astrophotography session for them under the stars of Joshua Tree. For two days these two were all laughs and smiles and even took it in stride when we started shooting under the night skies and we didn’t get those perfect clear skies Joshua Tree is known for (it did eventually clear up and we were able to create some dramatic images).

April 5th, 2016:
A high-fiving porcupine named Mr. Prickles, an unplugged ceremony where our laid back grooms asked all their guests to turn off their devices and be a part of their marriage, a Lady and the Tramp style churro eating to replace a cake cutting, and even getting up close to a giraffe and various other desert creatures throughout the day; With promises like these, you can imagine I have been excited to shoot Matt + Jason’s wedding day at The Living Desert in Palm Springs for quite some time now.
Needless to say, these guys brought love, excitement, and their laid-back attitudes to what is easily one of the most fabulously fun weddings I have photographed in a long time.

November 16th, 2015:
A couple weekends back Kenny and I took the trek out to Palm Springs to catch up with Jeremy + Jessica for their wedding day at the Classic Club (you might remember these two from their epic Joshua Tree Astro Photography shoot in July). It was their lucky day, not just because they were marrying each other and the weather was perfect, but the Classic Club was closed for “reseeding” and no one else was around – giving us a run of the entire club – which, for a photographer is like a dream come true!
It was a fantastic day and I am throughly thrilled for these two and their families. Thank you for letting us celebrate with you!

Jennifer + CJ’s wedding at the Monterey Country Club in Palm Desert was a heart warming affair packed with friends and family all there to support these wonderful women. The weather was perfect and Kenny and I had an amazing time celebrating with them both and getting to know everyone.
Congrats again to you ladies, Thanks for having me celebrate your love with you!

Eileen & Trinidad are friends of Cassandra & Javier, and I can see why: All 4 of these awesome people are super easy-going and fun to be around!
We started off our photo session at a sushi bar where Eileen & Trinidad first met. I love being able to shoot at a place of sentimental value for our clients, and even better yet when they’re on a first name basis with the owner so we get to take pictures before it’s open to other patrons!
After a run of the sushi bar – and after I had sufficiently manhandled Trinidad’s sushi roll for the shot above, I let them eat this roll – we headed east to Highland Springs Resort for the second half of their shoot.
Thanks for such a fun day, and congrats again to you both. We look forward to capturing your big day next July!
