California natives getting married in the Pacific Northwest? Seems like a perfect fit for someone like me who splits his time between Southern California and Seattle, photographing love up and down the west coast.
It also didn’t hurt that Melissa, Tommy and I immediately clicked as we wandered around Huntington Beach for their engagement session. Tommy and I talked about our love of fixing up old homes and our passion to build things right (it might surprise some of you out there, but I am quite handy). While Melissa is a pilot, meaning they also travel often, so we talked about European trips, my recent sojourns to Southeast Asia and some of our favorite places in the world.
As an FYI, my current top 3 countries to visit in no particular order: Myanmar, Argentina and Switzerland.
Once we wrapped up the shoot (freezing under the pier in the ocean wind), they invited me out for a couple beers and we continued our conversations. Thanks to you both for the perfect afternoon and the beers! I can’t wait to see you again in Washington!
