Matthew and Katie came to me for their wedding photography after I had photographed two of Matt’s other band mates wedding celebrations (Avi+Angie and Justin+Christa) – they had already seen me in action and heard great things. Since I had already hit it off so well with Matt’s friends, I went into this shoot knowing Matt and Katie had to be pretty damn chill people – and needless to say, I wasn’t let down.
Their engagement session included wandering around their loft building downtown, hitting up their favorite spot for Manhattans, catching the L.A. views from Bunker Hill and then finishing up on the 4th street bridge as the sky turned to twilight with the city laid out behind us.
It was a damn fine way to spend a Sunday afternoon and I had a great time getting to know these two.
